Hyundai PA, the replacement for santro???

Guys, just now read an article in the ET, saying that hyundai motor will debut its latest premiuim hatchback - code named Pa - in India in November ahead of its global launch in January 2008. it ll hit indian roads two months earlier than Europe and other world markets.

also did some googling and got this:
Amicable-replacement: Hyundai is preparing its new city car, codenamed PA, for a launch at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. The PA is to replace the Amica/Atoz(santro); it's to be an altogether more modern, stylish and practical proposition, developed to rival the likes of the Fiat Panda.

Pick of Picanto bits: Hyundai doesn't have to start from scratch, however: the PA is to share its underpinnings and much of its construction with the city car offered by its subsidiary firm, Kia.

Engine line-up : We can also expect a similar engine line-up to that of the Picanto range - a 999cc (60bhp) three-cylinder, or a 1086cc (64bhp) four-cylinder unit. However, as Hyundai will be pitching a little further upmarket and offering some more expensive variants, a small diesel could also feature.

This tiddler will come in five-door form only and its flat-backed rear end suggests that it will have a relatively large and accessible boot for its size. The Picanto has already proved pretty impressive, and this sister model looks set to become another worthy choice in the increasingly competitive city car sector.

We already have 3+ threads on this! Same pics have been posted before too.

Its been a long wait for this car to come out. And some are hoping it would be having an auto tranny and 1.1 CRDi versions.
