Yes the waiting period issue seems to be a blackmark for maruti and now they are trying to offer financial incentives to make this period that much easier.

Maruti are now offering 24%[per annum] interest on the booking amount from the 16th day of booking for the Sx4 and the swift till the date you recieve a letter from the dealer that your car is ready,too bad I already got my Sx4.
