I have not seen that (If such a thing exists at all) on any vehicle. Are we sure that we are not TATA bashing?

this 14% is before discount, so either you spread the 4% discount equally to reduce the rate, or take it as lump sum to reduce the down payment.

But even after all that, I still feel, 14% is high

Yes the top vent has flow on both the side, I am not sure if its good or bad, because, flow towards the front will directly hit the head of people sitting in front row. Though there is a separate air flow speed control for top vent. Another good part is that there also a pair of AC vents at the bottom for middle seat.

Done in my previous post.

Further, Manipal Motors quoted 12.5% as the rate of interest from Tata Finance, translating to an EMI of Rs 2239 / lakh for a 60 month loan.

How about an opinion poll on the color of choice for the new 2.2 ?

I see 3 new colors for the 2.2 Dicor. Mountain Green, CycusGrey, and Steel Blue.

I have a feeling that Mountain Green and CycusGrey would be the more popular colors with the beige interiors. Would like to know the views of people who have TD-ed the vehicle or seen it.

I'm hoping Concorde lives upto its promise of a TD on the 9th.

cheers!

Good idea, but FYI steel blue is not new color, this color is available since may 2007, when i booked 3ltr safari in steel blue, unfortunately, i had to cancell the booking due to my transfer.

Arizona blue was discontinued since april 2007.

quick question, how much would it cost to actually ditch the standard 16" wheels and upgrade to 17" alloys and the requisite tyre upgrades?
Around 30000 with a buy back of the old ones ASAP.

Can anyone do the maths for the Safari VX 4x2 OTR Vashi, Navi Mumbai please.

Indeed, you are missing the courtesy of Govt. of Karnataka! Road tax here is steep.

Boy, the road tax in Bangalore is 1.00 lac + whereas in Delhi and Harayana it is much lesser. Thats where you see the huge difference and we guys in Bangalore feel

They are calculating RT @12% for LX and EX, perhaps safari's floor area is more than 5 sq.mt. see here

But for VX its comng out to be more than 12%, which seems a mistake unless its category changes.
