I read on the Autocar forum that Suzuki Liana will replace Esteem in 2008.

guys, it won't be a swift with a boot, i am pretty sure about that. it's gonna be a completely new car or maybe the suzuki liana, not sure about this though. but, it would be a new car with good looks too. maruti is now on a fast lane and is launching completely new cars , like in the case of swift and SX4. they are also gearing up to launch the all new splash replacing wagonR. so going by this trend, maruti is going to launch a completely new car.

I agree,
It may not be Swift with a boot. It would look very awkward(spell?) as Swift'd current design may not merge well for boot(sedan).
