Hope they will not in near future. I also recently got Santro XO. I am not bothered though as I really think I got a very good deal on outgoing XO model. And I intend to keep the car for a long time.

I just called Hyundai call center, they say Auto is also launched but price is not available. They are not sure whether Auto will be top end or not.

Looks like Hyundai has a winner this time around finally ! The car looks lightyears ahead of the Santro... Very European styling and Japanese interiors...Center console looks like the Innova while the gear placement is like the new CR-V and ofcourse the biege color is a trend followed by most japanese car makers today..gives a more upmarket and spacious feel to the cabin.....although i was hoping a slightly more upsize on the power front but i guess this will suffice for most buyers....Nonetheless, a grrrrreat replacement for the Santro.

The car is positioned more to compete with Estilo/WagonR/Spark.
The car is loaded with features but it screams "touched up Santro".

The car looks really good. And the interiors give it a very upmarket feel. Hyundai have priced it well but I am still keen to see how it is priced in Mumbai. The Santro AT was never in the XO model. I'm wondering if Hyundai do the same this time around. The i10 AT can make good second car in the house.

Looks like Hyundai have got it right after a long time. Now to see if they launch a diesel.

No mention of Auto tranny on site. Checked with local dealer - Mumbai prices will be coming soon. Car officially getting launched in Mumbai tomorrow. He also mentioned that Auto option will not have optional sunroof, nor ABS and Airbag so most likely it will have trims of Era. Car surely feels good in comparison to Santro but a diesel engine with auto tranny would have been an attraction for me with optional ABS and Sunroof. Hope Hyundai launches it next year.

Hyundai has done it again?

Magna Option ex show Dehli is 4.74L+ vat. In Mumbai it will be 4.94L. On road it will be 5.51 L. Swift ZXi is 5.84L - 18K discount= 5.66L. In Zxi one gets bigger car+ABS/BDS+Climate Control+Alloys+Wider tyres.

Thats exactly what it actually is and thats what should have happened but looks like Hyundai is repeating the Accent-Verna story with the i10. Tushky's pics show that the car is nothing but a new Santro. I think lots of parts apart from the engine are carry over's from the Santro.
