Not that Big one Buddy !!! You really need a solid reason to owe a sunroof in small car and infact in any car when u cant use in the polluted metros or Delhi for sure.

I think sunroof is an over hyped feature that we are debating here/

Anyways waiting for the i10 specs to be released by Hyundai

I am dying to own a car - Santro or i10. (fingers crossed)

Sunroof is more Desirable feature in Countries like UK where they are looking for SUNHINE all 12 months
in india it could be used occasionally and that too in few winter months

But going to Shimla/Manali/Hill station would be nice idea though in such car
even then u run a risk of sunburn as SUN is too harsh here

visited hyundai showroom today at Navi Mumbai. After a couple of enquiries regarding getz D and Verna VGT, asked about an automatic. I was offered Sonata and then I requested for something in lower budget as Santro. Guy made couple of enquiries and reverted- sorry sir, car is not in stock. Then I asked about any possibilities sooner? I have been asked to wait for few days as they were expecting some news by 26th as the last batch of sales training where one of his colleagues had also gone, is over today. I have been requested to re-check tomorrow. Keeping my fingers crossed. Guys even the staff at dealers place are anxious as much as we are! lets see.
And yes- they have no clues about Elantra at all , not even hush hush.. so hard luck. I sincerely wish they launch Elantra- diesel - with auto tranny!!

Hi Guys -

Some unofficial dope on the Hyundia i10.

Five models -

1. Delite
2. Era
3. Auto
4. Magna
5. Magna Option Pack (Magna +)
6. Magna Option Pack with Sun-roof

Era should be approx Rs. 4.34 lakhs on-road in Mumbai

Disclaimer: Please note that the above is not official info. So can change / may be inaccurate.

More details awaited ..

Damn! They've done a 'Santro' again! The 'Auto' which I presume is the A/T is a lower variant offering. From whatever little information is outlined by 'softshop', it seems the Magna option pack (with sun roof) may not sport the A/T. Grrrrrrr....

The car looks great from side view. I think they are doing some advertise shooting. I also assume that they have used top-end model with body colored bumpers and alloy wheels for their advertisement. Now sincerely hope that they will launch within a week time. It would be my over expectation but still wish they will launch one model with very very frugal 1.1 crdi engine along with 1.1 upgraded petrol engine.
