The HYUNDAI India website still says "Wait till tomorrow". I think Hyundai are not sure. It was "Wait till tomorrow" yesterday also. Today they should have changed that msg to "Today"... or "evening " or anything but not "Tomorrow" again...
It is disappointing to see such reputed/credible companies making such silly mistakes.

So far as I10 goes, I dont know, but I can no more trust what the website says. I dont know if that "Tomorrow" is finalized as yet....

As of now the website is not even mentioning anything about wait till tomorrow. I guess the flash has been removed temporarily. Or is it my cache memory playing spoilsport? Anyone , has any updates, please.

Hyundai i10 Seen - TD'ed !!!!

Hello, Just back from Hyundai Showroom - opposite my factory. Had gone there with a friend who wanted to buy a Getz ( T-BHP Member - Lavi_cool_1999 ).

After waiting for a while met the owner who told me their first batch of i10 has arrived today and whether we would like to see one.

He got the Demo Vehicle downstairs - Yellow Colour ( Yuck !! ). Car is just like the one we see in spy pics and the ACI Nov Issue.

I saw the mid model ( w/o sunroof ). it had power windows, Rear wiper, power everything, including ESP. Car did not have factory fitted stereo or anything else.

It's quite a stunner actually, especially the Interiors. I did not have a camera with me so could not click any pics.

Also did a small TD in their parking lot - drives like any other new car you would drive nowadays. Not enough for me to comment if it is good or bad.

The guy did not disclose any price or launch date BUT said its probably going to be launched day after.

I enquired about the Sunroof and he said that there is only one model which has Alloys & Sunroof - which will not be launched for another 2-3 months. Initial lot would be all the normal model.

One thing I hated about the car was all 4 seats did not have headrests. All one piece seats. BUT seat comfort was fantastic and so was rear seat space.

Boot was tiny and smaller than a Getz but a tad bigger than a Santro. Had a very unique boot release. The 'H' of the Hyundai at the back is the Boot release actually. Innovative I would see.

Speedometer was very nice loooking with Green - Yellow - Dual Colour Illuminated.

All in all I would say Hyundai definetely has a winner at its hands.

Cheers !!

varun

Oh Yeah - Forgot the Engine Part

1.1 Engine only for now - producing 69 BHP. That is all I know.

Dimensions - I did not check but slotted bang in between the Getz and Santro I would say.

Very smart looking front lights also. Fog Lamps look really classy.

Beige Interiors it has.

WOW !!! Thanks Varun for first hand info. I am sure we will get detail report soon.
In Pune, Hyundai replaced verna banners to i10, places like STPI Hinjawadi, Deccan Lakadi bridge, you can see big banners talking about i10.
