yes
they are common in all three variants of turbo ( DLS, DLG,DLX) as far as price goes the website does not show any increase in price. how is it possible? is it correct or website has to modify the price part

website is not properly updated. it available only in DLX variant. ex showroom 4.76 in delhi almost 60 K more than DLX without airbags and ABS

I totally agree! It doesn't look like it's factory fitted. What are Tata's thinking?! It's not ugly, it's HIDEOUS!

They have released advt. in TOI ( Mumbai ) also today. Sorry for updating so late as I assumed someone must have done it already. what do we do with a hatch with ABS , Airbag nonetheless its welcome and in future its surely going to be loved by all safety conscious owners. But then what a shame - they dont have this option for Indigo ( except XL) and nor for Safari LX & EX variants. Huh.

ABS & Airbags are an option on DLX

Guys,

I was browsing the Tata site and saw this info:-

The DLX now also comes with ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) and Dual Airbags as an option.

I remember reading somewhere, tata is setting up facility for testing airbag safety features. So does that mean these features were tested somewhere else?

So how do we rate the reliability of this feature in tata vehicle

ps: - I know that Safari already has this feature

Shatru is right, ABS on a vehcile like Indica doesnt make sense, the vehicle is not quick enough anyways,if it was fitted with a 1.3 fiat then maybe but not with the current engine.

Come on Ranc, isnt more safe better than less safe? I think its great that TATA's are setting a good example for the others (read: the likes of Hyundai) to follow suit. I have seen many people doing speeds >120 on highways around Delhi - so with ABS (and even airbags in terms of accidents) it would provide more safety were they to brake hard.

BTW, going a little off topic (which I hope the Mods will excuse) - any further news on the Scorpio 2.2 launch/features?
