I think the most important thing for Fiat global is to improve their image, strenthen the wickest links, build portfolio and then target niche segment.

Currently it looks like jumping in a dry well (sukhe kuuwe me jaan dena)

I guess Alfa Romeo's press worked pretty well for me.
When i saw the title, i thought this is cool, we're going to have one of the best lookign cars, but I had no idea that the Alfas suffered from reliability issues.

Are there any writeups that I can be referred to? it's a pity as the car looks so good!

And 185 BHP in a 2.2 looks yum as well.

So the front end is from the Indica rather than the Indigo. In that case Autcar site got the artists impression wrong.

Alfa Romeo does make good cars..but thats only the visual part. Driving it is fun,but its definitely not going to last very long. Given the conditions in India..I don;t see how they'll sell more than a handful of the 159s.

Sure looks great - I think this deserves a separate thread since it might end up changing the dynamics of the c-segment.

Alfa Romeo + Fiat in India = Blunder !!

Wonder what the poor owners(if we have any takers) will do once they buy this. Imagine getting this serviced and availability of spares in this country.

Quote:
The cars will be sold through a group of exclusive dealerships to be set up in the coming months. Dealerships will be given to the best Fiat dealers in India, who will now get access to the famous brand
I simply wished they never brought it down here.

i agree with all your comments!

FIAT + Alfa Romeo = Blunder!!

Alfa at 28 lakhs...... that too a 159....... again...... not gonna work.

But for god sakes will you look at how good that looks!!! the brera is a masterpiece. ONLY the italians can put so much passion into designing cars!! its not engineering.... its not machinery..... its an art form!!
