The Estate is a good vehicle..if you take care of it like a baby..needs frequent attention to keep it running fine..

Good suspension and great rear seats..Very hard to find a good second hand vehicle as most of them as bashed up beyond comprehension..

Owned one from 94 to 96 and did around 60k kms before selling it..A good vehicle from the yester years..

The new Common rail engines ofcourse make most of the old IDI engines look outdated..

If you find a good one..you are LUCKY!

Please do not buy an estate even if you are getting it @ <10000 Rs. not worth the money. It will rot in the garage and you will not be able to dispose it off even for free.

The first car I purchased when I started earning was a 1995 Tata Estate. I had purchased it in 1997 (2 Yrs used) with 46000 on the odo. I kept it till 2001 and had done about 165000 when replaced it with an Ikon
