Gearbox, though is better than Estilo. I felt the first gear was a bit tight (new car, may be), however, the rest was good, and shift is well positioned as well!

Dont Worry Hyundai Lover, looks like the guy just bought a new estilo http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/test-d...en-estilo.html and probably took the estilo bashing a lil personally!!
Jokes apart, though the i10 is still largely untested in reliability etc, its certainly a way superior product than the estilo hands down!

Thanx from my side too @ mods.

Now... here is the comparison between estilo and i10.

Width:
Estilo: 1475 mm
i10: 1595 mm (Winner)
Less Space inside, i.e shoulder space. Cramped up in estilo. 120 mm difference. Thats a good difference.

Height:
Estilo: 1595 mm
i10: 1550 mm (Winner)
Duh!! Less width and more height, makes that car stable? lol hardly 40 mm difference bet. the 2 and thats good. i10 with more width and less height. means more stable.

Length:
Estilo: 3495 mm
i10: 3565 mm (Winner)
do i have to say anything?

Wheel Base:
Estilo: 2360 mm
i10: 2380 mm (Winner)
20 mm difference in wheel base. again i need to explain? I guess not.

Now coming to the engines:
Estilo:
1061 CC
64 BHP / 6,200 RPM
Torque: 84 nm/ 3,500 RPM

i10:
1086 CC (Winner)
66.7 BHP /5500 RPM (Winner)
Torque: 99 nm / 2800 RPM (Winner with good difference)

Can you see the refinement on the papers?
Now Practical Overview:
Now coming on to churning this power....
i10 is a clear winner as it have much better gearbox than Estilo.
Estilo Dies at 130 kmph max. inspite of having wagon R's engine because of its weak gearbox.
I had seen i10 running at 140 kmph.. infront of my own eyes and i will be taking this i10 on express way, noida next week to check the top speed.

Stability:
Ofcourse....
Everyone knows about the poor stability of Zen Estilo with less width and more height. Do i need to ans. that ques?
Boy!! Santro with 1.1L engine can touch 160-165 kmph and estilo with 1.1L engine just 130 kmph? Duh!!

Some Features which are not avialable in Estilo but there in i10:
1. Rear Wash Wiper is missing.
2. Tubeless Tyres is missing damn man.
3. Steering Adjustment is missing... aww man Sorry for this comfort level, you are really missing it.
4. oopps Estilo don't have an integrated center console? Sorry you missed it dude.
5. Rack & Pinion steering gear with electric power assistance (tech used in lexus mercs and audis) Sorry dude you again missed it.

Now who is a Clear Winner? i10 or Estilo?
I Guess Hyundai i10 is a clear winner.

Now coming to your points:
1) I get a feeling that it is a female trying to pull her pettycoat down to cover her butt. LMAO when i see rear of i10 i feel like going to pee.

You havnt shown the rear view of the i10. but just the hatch opened. Please compare both of them with rear view lol...

I wont tell who is the clear winner... People will tell.....

2) What is the fuel effeciency.... lookwise i would buy a skoda forget estilo and i10. Is the car VFM? what does it give u except looks (TADPOLE)

i10 looks like a tadpole?

Duh!! If you opt a skoda just for the looks.... now what about Civic's Styling? Don't Worry now we had your psychological factors opting for old styling cars like skodas and zen estilos over new fresh styling like civics or i10s.
We don't know exact fuel efficiency of it so no comments on it from either side i guess .

3) Thin non adjustable headrest seats.... hahahhaahahha is that a new technology for rickshaw drivers?

i10 comes with ergonomically designed long front seat which has the back rest and head rest as a single unit - a perfect resting platform for the occupant's back and neck for a fatigue free driving experience. Dude you should read before commenting. seems your views are limited. Rear Headrest Adjustable.

4)front dashboard is not having any corner ends... how would anything stand there... suppose a newspaper?

corner ends? well dude i10 have much much better space utilization if compared with estilo. Please compare again before posting.

5) hood is like a pregnant women....LMAO shahrukh selling a pregnant women....
Preggy woman? Seems you need to visit eye specialist. anyways watch again dude.

Have ya seen it on the road? Ever?
It looks sexy and hot.

So, It seems your zen estilo failed miserably here infront of i10. Happy driving your new Zen Estilo.

Sorry Team-BHPians and mods. But this boy needs a dose for that cheap bashing. Its not just hyundai or suzuki but it was against a cheap bashing.

Note: If mods feels, i had done something wrong. You are most welcome to remove this comparison post.

Regards

CNBC autoshow drove the i10 at 150km and found it to be very stable. they gave a 5/5 of for ride and stability

We don't know exact fuel efficiency of it so no comments on it from either side i guess .

Again CNBC Autoshow quoted it at 15 km/l, but didn't mention other details like with/without AC or city/highway.

Great pics HyundaiLover. Now all members can view things in a proper perspective, butts apart .

I did not mean to hurt any Estillo owner's sentiments, but was merely expressing my aversion. I'd also mentioned that looks are subjective.
After all beauty is only skin deep, so if one can bear with the rear, then the Estillo is perhaps a good car. But sales figures are not encouraging, and it looks like many do not find the looks appealing.
Even the WagonR sells much more than an Estillo, though it is more than 6 years old.
The only Estillo that appealed to me as a great ladies car was the pink one--which seems to have a strong resemblance with the Pink Panther.

Thanx man. haha Sorry i forgot to mention about the girlish pinky aunty estilo. Pink Panther haha Old Zen is away ahead of this little toy in terms of performance. lol my Wagon R is more responsive than this liliput. Smallest hood, ever seen after matiz. What about the impacts?

Zen Estilo will fail miserably in that dept. too 100% sure about it.

Need to wait for some info about i10's crash test. anyways car with International norms should had done some crash tests. Anyone have some information about this?

While searching on the net I got this
An Off Topic but ... i couldnt resist.
2007 Hyundai Veracruz, 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe and 2007 Hyundai Elantra Earn Highest Government Crash Test Ratings Car Review and Specs | 2007 Hyundai Veracruz, 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe and 2007 Hyundai Elantra Earn Highest Government Crash Test Ratings C

When i bought my accent, i was not having much knowledge about the cars and phased out elantra as a choice just because of the looks and when i gained some knowledge, now i'm dissapointed with my decision why i havnt opted for such a car. Ultimate Braking systems, spacious.

But i'm waiting for an Elantra replacement i30 or new elantra 2007 and check the reports and will book one, else Sonata

Anyways coming back to the topic...
Anyone have any info about the crash testing of i10? I think i had seen somewhere, don't remember where.

If your comparison decides the stability of a car, then all these tall-boy junkies would have to rest in peace. Can you please define 'stable'?

Now, why did Civic come in this discussion? I thought we were talking about tall, small cars. A humble request, please don't bring unrelated examples.

This is pathetic designing. I think it is ugly and makes me puke. Hey! That is my opinion!

Thanks for telling us that, it makes things clear about your views in the Accent vs. Baleno thread.

Hyundai Lover,

Your post seem to look like a crude attempt to poke fun at Zen Estilo. You must first accept that everyone has a choice before preaching the same to others.

i10 looks like a a Santro coming from operation theator after a beauty enhancement treatment especially to add meat at certain spots...

Hi all.
Why do we become so agitated and personal if something is said against our car or the one we like? Everybody has an opinion. Let's respect it and not be Mr. smartypants.
Anyways i10 is a segment higher than the zen Estilo
and a better car overall. Hyundai has tried to differentiate between the i10 and Santro. The Zen is more in competition with the Santro.
Cheers
cheers.
