Wow, 1.4L 89bhp diesel !!!! Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet. :thumbs up
I would seriously consider buying this car just for the engine.
Anyone has seen/heard/read anything about this engine ??
The car looks good IMO. Its headlight cluster does not look obscenely big when compared to the rest of the car, unlike the i10.
Rear looks good too. I think it would be i30-ish.
i feel there is a lot of swift in that design.. what say guys?
Specs looks too good to good to be true for us to get in India specially for Diesel Engine this can surery be the Fabia killer
Autoblog covers this as well. Most interesting is the new 1.4 Diesel engine and
six speed gearbox in i20 Blue! Will we get this in India as well? :)
Quote:
The i20 blue also runs the extremely efficient 1.4 CRDi diesel engine, which produces 90PS and generates 220 Nm of torque, mated to a six–speed manual gearbox – instead of the car´s usual five–speed unit.
The regular i20 stands out for its incredibly low CO2 rating and fuel consumption and the i20 blue is even more impressive, with just 99g/km and 4.0 litres /100km.

The front hood gives me a Fabia-ish feel - Anyone else?

Probably they seeing the response and then will phase out... |
I don't think they will do that 'cause looking at their pattern and offerings .... they will just continue producing Santro and offering it with CNG as alternate fuel for customers. Production might slightly reduce but at least it gives them a different car and also offering alternate fuel options in the same.
They have done the same with the Accent .... fitted a CNG option in the same.
So my guess is ..... don't be surprised if you see a Getz CNG 1.1 / 1.3 lol:
Be safe,

Anju, that website claims not to be affiliated with Hyundai in any way. So why link to domain squatters, unless of course you know better? ;)
Y do you say so ? Have you confirmed with Hyundai ?
I remember I disclosed Hyundaii10 website which was ON, 1 month before its official launch in India.
cheers

No need to confirm with Hyundai. The website itself claims it is not associated with Hyundai in any way. See the bottom of the site page for that info.
Thanks Hemanth for the gnyan.
I hope thats true, these are the tricks those guy play to catch consumers attention.
or somebody may have really registered this one in a hope to get decent money from Hyundai to have thier claim on the weblink as its matching with i10.
let us see.
cheers
Anju
I read in Business Line today that Hyundai is targetting to sell 20,000 units of i20 by year end:Shockked:!!! It includes both domestic and export. I would be surprised if they will sell those nos if they price it as Hyundai premium prices.
(No offence to any Hyundai owners)

No Vista, but more Verna-ish.
Hopefully, this will see a better price for the i10 & the Getz.
