This SS80 is parked just near my home and is in healthy running condition. The car is well cared by the owner which itself is a quite a rare thing in my locality.

When I started this thread in 2007,there was not much fan following for the SS80. Now there are hundreds of SS80 cars running again on the roads and many obsolete parts have become available(although repro and of inferior quality)

These period photos were sent to me by an SS80 owner who is not in the forum
Interesting thing to note is that the chrome decals on the rear panel was already there on the body in the assembly line.

Here are pictures of the 1985 Maruti Dx which joined my collection last August. An one owner driven car , absolute new like, pristine. Fitted new tyres, battery & Wheel trims with a coat of fresh paint & polish.

It would be nice if you can post the front and rear photos of the car.
By the way the DX model came with leather seat covers(Beige colour in this particular shade car) which is missing here.
