Sir,That is a beautifully restored car ...I am also having the same model. Have You modified the brakes.Can a booster be fitted in this car ...If yes ,than can You upload some snaps.Would be obliged

I wish Maruti makes this car again. My neighbor had a red One. It looked brilliant. The paint had faded, but who cares.
Such low seating, huge glass area. Functionality at its best.
I know, the same car cannot make numbers anymore. Maruti will never produce anything other than a mass seller. It possibly cannot seat 4 adults of our generation anymore. It might not even pass the basic safety standards.
But, let me just dream on

The SS80 DX.
My pal's dad bought one in 1985...brand new.
Leather seats and all the rest of the stuff. Lovely choco brown.
Excellent looking car and felt great to sit in and/ or drive.

I got a red one (1984 model) second hand in 1996 paying 75000/-.
Kept it until 1998 and moved on to a 1988 model Gypsy.
Fine car indeed.

Folks. Do we have similar thread for SB308 ? Just in case you have both cars and know about it ?

I see a lot of people (incl me) restoring their SB308 but not finding such common thread. We all can help each other as many parts are similar OR available in same stores/vendor ?

Had the same question about a year back and this is what GTO had to say about it back then.

I understand. Do we have single common thread for SB308 then ? I am sure we have a lot of content, infact, I know people in dozens who are reviving their cars and some of them with Industry bench marks.
