coming to the point of the bonnet opener. Can any one point me to what exact was the original logo on the bonnet opener of SS80.

An SS80 seen briefly in a Malayalam movie...note the wheel caps- original? I have very vague memories of seeing these ones, did they not stay on too long? :P

Due to certain constraints, have not been able to run my SS80 now for over six months. Battery may need replacement but the car otherwise is in an excellent condition. Would it be a good idea to let it go seeing that I have two other cars that I use regularly and getting this one up and running would not make much sense now as it will again be sidelined ?

An original owners instruction manual for SS80 is available with a person here.He got it along with his car in 1984.The car got sold abt 10 years back,but the manual remained with him.If anyone is genuinely interested pm me for his contact details

Are you sure it is Deluxe model.of course the digital clock is there.But the seat belts are not to be seen,nor is the original clarion radio/stereo player
On another note the Door pads and the seat covers have also been changed. the tray below the dash is missing.the headlamps,parking lights are also not OE.

I went to the same tyre shop again where I had seen an SS80 some months back (link) and saw the car this time with some make shift add ons. It also has alloy wheels and wider brand new tyres and the owner said that it is for sale.
Picture was taken at night with mobile and hence the lack of clarity and quality.

Saw an immaculate white ss80 at Quilon last week bearing registration number K*U 484. The car was so beautiful that I could not take my eyes away and therefore could not click. Checked the MVD site and is with the second owner presently.

I know that car well.It was advertised for sale in the local newspapers about 6months back.asking price was Rs.45000/-. This car was indeed a good DX model till a few years ago when it was with the first owner in Anchal .Lot of changes have happened since then.Originality wise not much to talk about.

Record-wise this car is with the third owner as the first owner was the father of the second owner.
