Bhopal car looks quite good. But I dont think anyone pays more than 50k for SS80 anywhere in India. Its still sadly not reached that "Classic" status yet.

Maybe you are correct about Mumbai or Northern India,but in the South especially Bangalore and Kerala Original Good low mileage done SS80's have got sold for Rs.90000/- and more.I hope you know the concourse SS80 DX owned by a forum member in Kerala,it has done just 36000kms to date and still has the original leather seat covers as good as new,there are many buyers for it at 6 digit price,but sadly,the owner will not part with it

The paint however certainly isnt, going by the finish and even the shade (lighter than the original, see my ex-SS80 and sureshkishore's)

I guess the particular shade of brown is not possible to get these days, except through a skillful mixing and matching.

Hi

need suggestions on keeping the leather seats safe. I have the original leather seats in my 800. However, the front seats have developed cracks and i fear they may give way. What is the best way to protect them? I was considering getting meguiars leather cleaner. will it be of any help?

Unfortunate, but to keep the originals intact, you should put a new matching leather seat cover over it, because if the original seats get worn or damaged, it will difficult and expensive to restore them.
BTW, for ss80 lovers, the car makes an appearance in the movie 'mere dad ki maruti'. Its a red ss80 which also figures in closing song with rolling credits apart from the movie!

I think if i can make it it soft, it would be a lot better (not that its hard now). It was for this reason that i was considering meguiars lubricant as it would do the work of a conditioner.

Surat car looks very good. Very well kept. Almost all orignal stuff intact.
