Not sure about the standard version's seat belts, but anyways they are of Japan and more surprisingly the Year of Manufacture is 1984.

Do you mean year of manufacture of the car or the seatbelts?

If that of the car, then not a surprise, as they came out here in late 1983 itself.

I meant for the seat belt, if you had noticed the pics of the seat belts, the year of manufacture says 1984,

Those seat belts on a standard are defintely aftermarket. Maybe those seatbelts were sourced from japan. Many aftermarket accessories for SS80 back then was sourced from japan.
Only the DX model came with factory fitted seat belts.

Suzuki Fronte was the international name. I remember as a kid I had a pack of Ace Trump cards which was about japanese cars and the Suzuki Fronte featued proudly in it. Though the body style was slightly different. I f I find the pack I'll post the particular card.

Hub Cabs for SS 80

SS 80 came with hub caps as shown in the pic below.
Any idea how to procure them or get them fabricated?

I had seen similiar ones on SB308's also. Dont think they were OE. Must be dealer fitted accesory. So sourcing them should be easier. Local accessory shops who have been in business since the early nineties could have them.

the positions of the monograms were as in this pic:

Thanks! So I'm sure this clears a lot of confusion people have in this regard!

This also proves that the Maruti sticker in Hindi, which has been stuck on my car, never came on the SS80s.
