It has covered only 35000kms till date
also here is another Bhpian' standard SS80 of the same shade in original paint from Kerala
Yeah he has paid twice the ongoing market rate. But it's a single owner piece with proper documentation. Yes its high price for a standard model but it was the best piece available for sale in Kollam.

A bit more work and it will be a gem. I will post pics of the rear soon. The glove box lid also needs a replacement.

I had seen pics of sureshkishore's SS80 DX. It should be called a factory fresh piece. .

Re: Maruti Suzuki SS80 DX

Yep that's quite original looking. Still lots of OG SS80's in Hyd area I feel. A little bit of TLC will make it a showstopper for sure!

That looks like a really genuine example of an original SS80 DX.Seems to even have the Stanley Sealed beam headlights intact.
Shyam, you could have met the owner and seen the interior also

Owner was nowhere to be seen. I did wait about 10 mins. Besides, I was getting late for lunch and wanted to get home quick!

Since you have the reg number,it is quite easy to find out the owner

Yes owner's name will be displayed on online RTO records, but it may not be the one who currently owns the car if he has not transferred it to his name. Also the RTO records wont display any other details like his address etc.

Yes, full details of the VEHICLE, NOT of the OWNER.

For further clarification, here's the URL of the AP RTO site. Type in any AP (for the time being!) regn. of any vehicle you know of (alpha's in caps, NO spaces: eg: APY1234) and see what all details of the owner are displayed there.

The Description of the car in the ad makes interesting reading.''GERMAN original horn''

Re: Maruti Suzuki SS80 DX

A neat but not too original SS80 I happened to see outside a Hyundai showroom today. The owner said the original colour was Powder Blue. Though he'd come to take a look at a new car he was planning to buy, he doesnt want to sell this ever!

Re: Maruti Suzuki SS80 DX

That car looks neat. Wou'dve looked even better if it had the single silver-grey instead of the dual tone. Very neat car!

Re: Maruti Suzuki SS80 DX

Wow! That is in an exceptional condition. The high price is justified to an extent. However, minus points for the non-original registeration. There is a very similar SS80 in Poona, in the very same colour and condition. It is 'MAF' registered , BTW.

It is a std version but has AC. So I guess its not as original as it looks. Still, the owners have done a great job in maintaining it if it is original paint and not repainted with original colour. Lights do look original.
