Mahindra is planning to launch a common rail version of the existing 2.6 liter diesel powerplant and we can expect some minor tweaks to the suspension and a facelift. Coming in February 2005

To be frank...its more of a rear face lift...according to the information from an internal source the new Scorpio will have a redesigned rear design and yes there is a spare wheel on the tail gate now. Not sure but it may have flared wheel arches, better tyres and versions with alloy wheels!!!
This is wat i call Improvement. First the normal Scorpio...then the Chain Drive one...then loads of variants like the SLX...introduced..and now this new Scorpio within 2 years of its age...great strategy by Mahindra.
