Isn't it so contrasting, when the favourite car is also a Honda City.

Team bhp's cult car would definitely be the OHC vtec. I have heard so much of it on here and it still is in high demand, 4 years after being discontinued. That tells alot about the car.

These are the cars that evoke the most passionate responses from Bhpians and are universally the most discussed cars here. Over the years, these cars have achieved an almost iconic status on T-BHP (rightly so IMHO). If nothing else, these cars evoke the most passionate support and criticism from members, which in some cases would result in fisticuffs and boken bones, were we not a virtual group . But the positive side to these extreme reactions is that such fanaticism is a pre-requisite for a cult car status!

(when was the last time you heard such passion about a wagon-r or a santro- no offense, these are brilliant cars and do their job admirably, but......)

so guys, which one of the above, according to you is THE T-BHP CULT CAR

Please support your choice with a reason, and yes, it helps if you have owned one of these or lived with one at any point of time.

No mine is bigger/better than yours please.....we have enuf threads for that. And also, no FIAT BASHING....

Just realised, except the OHC, I have owned all of the other cars, and my vote goes to the Baleno!!
All the cult cars mentioned here have something real special associated with them that makes them favorite with the crowd at T-bhp,even i love most of the cars listed.

We can actually have T-bhp cult cars rather than just one cult car. For example judging a Safari in the OHC VTEC qualities does not make sense. Though each of these are winners in their own right amongst their own competitors.

For me two cars stand out - Mitsubishi Lancer and Maruti Gypsy - people are still paying ridiculous prices for this legend introduced more than 20 years ago.

OHC gets my vote for the cult car status. My having one might have something to do with it .

The Palio 1.6 anyday. The first proper perfomance hatchback. Definitely more affordable than the OHC, even in the earlier days. The car somehow combined space, torque, handling, practicality ( size ) and looks. FE was a setback and hey, the cake was too big anyway.... kudos to fiat for the palio 1.6.

The baleno comes next - comfort and space

Why get an (ab)used car paying 4.5 lakhs when you could get a spanking new Baleno by putting in just a wee bit more (atleast till last year) ?

As far as the tbhp-cult car award goes, I think it would be a close tie between the Baleno, OHC-Vtec and the Palio1.6.

Yup, that too! For the price, an unbelievable fun-to-drive package.

Its the Zen for me. It is vfm,fun and kinda cute. The cockpit reminds you of a go-kart. The next is the Ohc-vtec.
