T-BHP Cult Car!!

OHC Vtec
Palio
Baleno
Zen (original and not Estilo!)
Tata Safari

These are the cars that evoke the most passionate responses from Bhpians and are universally the most discussed cars here. Over the years, these cars have achieved an almost iconic status on T-BHP (rightly so IMHO). If nothing else, these cars evoke the most passionate support and criticism from members, which in some cases would result in fisticuffs and boken bones, were we not a virtual group . But the positive side to these extreme reactions is that such fanaticism is a pre-requisite for a cult car status!

(when was the last time you heard such passion about a wagon-r or a santro- no offense, these are brilliant cars and do their job admirably, but......)

so guys, which one of the above, according to you is THE T-BHP CULT CAR

Please support your choice with a reason, and yes, it helps if you have owned one of these or lived with one at any point of time.

No mine is bigger/better than yours please.....we have enuf threads for that. And also, no FIAT BASHING....

Just realised, except the OHC, I have owned all of the other cars, and my vote goes to the Baleno!!

Going just by populairty vote it will be a tight shift between OHC Vtec and Safari. Then Baleno-Paleo-Zen comes.

But what the hell i love Rudra's amby more than anything else when it comes to cult status.

Just for fun sake, why dont we create a thread to show off and compete our prized possessions in Virtual reality highway, of this forum

well i would vote for OHC Vtec and it needs no explanation, the engine itself does the talking.
no car below 10 Lacs comes as close as OHC Vtec when it comes to providing a thrilling and joyful ride.
This car will win hearts wherever you take it. Its an amazing car for drags and handles sharply.

I would say the favor would tilt heavily towards the OHC ( Vtec in particular) and Baleno probably vying for a close second.

Others are discussed often but, not revered enough to be called a cult car

I am confused between the Zen and the VTEC. I have own a Zen and still continue admiring it eventhough I bought a new Getz. Eventhough I havent owned a VTEC, I think that would be the best to be reffered as a cult car.

Where is the LANCER?

Out of the given above, my vote goes for an OHC Vtec too. No car has been worshipped so much that this one by team-bhpians. Baleno also has so many worshippers but OHC Vtec it is.

Myself, I love Balenos first, then OHCs! But my latest cult car is the LANCER! And why is it not HERE?

OHC VTEC without a doubt. Have you noticed the "OHC VTEC wanted" threads lately?

Its the Palio 1.6 for me. I just love the steering, the midrange and fantastic feel it gives me while driving.

To complete...

These are brilliant cars and do their job admirably, but... They lack a charecter, a soul, don't you think?

(Before anyone starts bashing, this is just my opinion, and i am among the unlucky majority not to have a cult car, but a WagonR)
