I think Amit has to give a little more info to prove that this is the true car. Checked closely and looks like not PSed. Amit, please reply. (I dont doubt you)

It certainly looks ugly. Check out the gap in the rear door and the boot lid.
You can put an hand through the gap!!!!

I think you are seeing the wide gaps due to the angle at which the image was shot.

Looks quite bulbous from the rear. Not sure if its a fact or because of the angle from which the shot has been taken. Though I would agree that it definitely scores pretty low in the looks department, I must admit that it looks much better than the photoshopped image that was making its rounds in the forum for so long.

Slightly off topic: Dont know why, but the metal strip on the trunk lid reminds me of the one seen on the US Chevy Impala.

Great

Yes its the angle that had made this look this bad.

But I feel that its really not that bad.
And yes, earlier it was remarked by someone that the rear look somewhat like the Camry.

It does.

Secondly, if we are able to digest the Tata Indigo, then we can easily digest this. Even the Honda City looks disproportinate even though the car is in higher segment and a Honda!

So I feel this is not really bad anf in fact its good.

thats what I feel

Maybe because you have seen so many PSed swift pics. The pic matched Sidindia's description. So I have reason to believe. Amit must confirm his source or some info on it.

If thats the car to replace the esteem, i am joining you salilpawar. let us meet up there then.

There is very little difference between this & the SX4, why would maruti want to do this ?

I see a fog lamp in the center of the bumper like the swift and a 3rd mounted tail-lamp inside the windscreen. How many lamps? Also, any pics of the front?? This is indeed a great scoop....
