Both ACI and OD have printed the pictures that Amitverma shared with us. While ACi didnt change the picture OD changed the colour of the car to red and changed the position of the front wheel.

Even i was shocked when i saw the first pics...may be the angle was giving such impression..
But from these pics the car doesnt seem to be that bad and that too with a good price tag...
When junta can accept indigo rear...this certainly looks better..

It sure is ugly and it sure will sell.

Indian car market loves such cars.

its quite similar to the SX4 rear... not sure what they were thinking.

How does booking work ? Does every dealer have a quota of cars or is it strictly on first-come-first-serve basis, whereever you book the car ?

Pics fromt he rear are quite okay, but I have a hunch that if viewed from the front three-quarters the car is going to appear to have too high a waistline for a sedan.

But what a "Butt" future!

Two thoughts come to mind.

1) Rear deck reminds of the old late nineties big-butt Fiat "178" Siena.

2) Maybe Chris Bangle's bulbous bum, separate rear fenders and "bustle-back" trunk lid is the shape of things to come.

Here's my drawing of the butt ugly future.

..and to imagine that some consumers will actually find this b(ea)utiful and shell out their lakhs for it.

nice drawing ram. But more than beauty, consumers will go for maruti repute, FE and other factors. Swift IMHO is not a stunner to look but is selling great numbers due to factors mentioned.
