I just went to pick my car from the bodyshop and I saw a bunch of cars wrapped in plastics in a plastic enclosed area, that are meant for display at the auto expo. Among them, were one Yellow SWIFT sport automatic directly shipped from Japan. (that was what the supervisor told me..and of course. when I asked if I can take a snap, got a promt NO, please!). It was wrapped in transparent plastic sheet and have low profile tyres and sexy alloy spokes. I saw inside the front engine boot as well as interior.. leather seats (black-red combination). The rear bumper of the car has two chrome silencers coming out. Unlike the regular Swift, the rear of this sport version is quite a looker.. resembles BMW SUVs. They have no idea if MSIL is planning to launch it here! Two other were Sx4 with the standard body kits (dark maroon color, one violet (apart from the other one which I posted earlier) all wrapped with plastics.

here are two pics which I managed to click before being caught!

The body kit on the SX4 looks really aggressive, almost like a wide body kit. Those fender flares remind me of the SX4 hatch 4wd with fat tires.

I wonder why they don't simply use the American SX4 sport body kit.

This can be a probable version of what we call as the SXi or Sports after the VXi and the ZXi. Although not much of a difference, a rear spoiler will help to differentiate between the ZXi and the Sports.

the swift front seems to be very aggressive. Like the Punto front. Hope they finally bring a really powrful engine in.

Swift Sport? Excellent! iTNerd, don't you think they must have brought it for the Auto Expo?

I spotted the SX4 version in Taiwan with the extended/ covered Back.. I dont know the exact term for it, i think it was the same from the front, and the back was like a CR-V. It is called SX4 there too, and I did not find our type of SX4 sedan.
