It looks cute. Hats off to Mr. Ratan Tata and Co for the Nano. A one lakh car which passes frontal crash test and with Euro 4 compliant engine! Many were sceptical about the entire project. Kudos to Mr. Ratan Tata for showing the world what cost effective engineering can make. I bow to you for your determination and courage to take on the whole world of sceptics and prove them wrong. May your tribe increase.

that aint the baisc version

the basic one woud be the red one with black bumers and other stuff.

You said it. After seeing this car on TV I started thinking that all manufacturers were fooling us till now. HATS OFF to RATAN TATA and his engineering team. What an effort. HE DESERVES BHARAT RATNA for sure.
This car looks way better than ESTILOs/SPARKs/I10s and cost just 1 LAKH. Its Eu4 compliant and passed the front and side crash tests. What else we want. Thank to TATA engineering. Next decade belongs to TATA ENGINEERING.

Commendable effort from Tata Motors. The car looks quite good for the price. With 624cc, 33bhp, meeting Euro IV norms and if it's reliable and Tata backs it up with good service, Maruti is in huge trouble.

Amazing speech by Mr. Ratan Tata as well. He drove one of the variants himself during the unveling. Pulling off a Euro-4 and Bharat-III compliance is no mean achievement. Also, hats off to the designers and engineers whose hard work has finally bore fruit. Good luck TATA.

Kudos Mr. Tata

I can see that a lot of determination went into the making of this car.

man Mr. Tata has shown the world that Indians are "THE BEST"

I m feeling totally out of words ....

The car will definitely be a big hit as it will be easier on wallet as well as easier on the parking space.

As most big Indian cities have speed limits so top speed is not gonna be a negative IMHO.

great going Mr. Tata.

Hats off to u and ur team

Even I was wondering of the same thing. Whether the power is OK for 5 people and sometimes the whole of 8~10 family members jampacked inside the car while travelling.
