I am at a loss for words. Not only has TATA delivered a cute and desirable car that you want to be seen in (as opposed to a Maruti800) they have also kept their 1 lakh promise. The interior is nice too. to Bharat Ratna Ratan.

Well done Tata. The car looks absolutely delightful.

"A promise is a promise" - Mr. Ratan Tata. Kudos to this gentleman, its really difficult to find people with such integrity. Even though the input costs like Steel have increased over the years, they have still managed to price the lowest version at 1 lac as promised

We can expect this to replace the autos in 2 or 3 years time, and it would be such a welcome change. The base version is priced almost at the level of 4S Bajaj auto, and I guess everyone will agree that the Nano is far better than the auto for this price. It is also much more safer than the auto. There will be some resistance from auto wallahs to change over, but I feel when people start prefering the Nano over the auto, they will have to change.

The Tata's seem to have set a precedent for the others ...

Indeed they truly deserve our congratulations for having kept thier promise...

Does anyone have a photo of the Nano engine? I havnt seen it yet! Just wondring how will one know if the engine is overheated since it has no temperature guage..

Or is it that the rear occupants have to tell by feeling the heat on their a**

But all in all i'll definately take one and give a good rest to my swift!

The Exhaust of the Tata Nano

My fingers are aching typing the words "Tata Nano" all of today!
Okey here is a closer look of the Nano's Exhaust! It is so tiny like that of a Kinetic Honda!

I wonder if some guys would buy the Nano and then cut the core to make a Durrrrrrrrrrr Noise? like that of an Auto (mostly seen in Banglore and Chennai)

I see a lot of frills on the rear, and so presume the radiator is out there, and the hatch on the rear opens up to service the engine!

Can't wait to put my hands on that gear box, and see how the gear shaft works! Man - this is genuinely Indian!

Nice pictures Steer. I even saw in the news that you get tubeless tyres as well. Might be in the deluxe version but great going there.

What more does the M800 offer, if I may ask.

BBC seems keen on making it look cheap. But from the Indian context, i think it really fits in.

Ok so ill take 2 of the 1variant and 2 of the other variant and 1 of the top variant. And ehh yes 15nos for the company blokes too.

Looks like this is going to sell like hot hot cakes.. Expect more than 20000 units to be sold in a month.

Nice pics Steer, where are the rest of the pics?

Also Tata have not done cost cutting with the badges. Suzuki uses stickers on the 800 to save costs.
