UGLY?
are you trying to tell me that these many people are busy discussing how ugly the fabia looks.
If many of us here feels that it looks exactly a copy of Swift, then either it should be, or we all have a serious eye problem. It's not possible that so many of us have an eye problem at the same time. So, I strongly think otherwise.

And looks are so subjective to individuals. If many thinks it is ugly and many thinks it's beautiful, there's nothing wrong in it. Many get hard ons by seeing at Naomi while many others are put off. Some are attracted by Jlo and many goes YUCK. Looks are subjective bro! A debate sometimes is not at all avoidable.

Just Wondering, at this price point won't comfort and driving experience of SX4 and Verna be comparable to Fabia?

Would fabia be a more comfortable and luxurious than these cars ?

This is so subjective! But I'd say that that the fat, high waist of the swift is ugly.

However, if you want to talk really ugly, then look at the Logan's backside! Looks are not the most important thing to me (I drive a swift and my wife doesn't match my woman stereotype either ) but I don't think I'd want to drive anything Renault produced for the last quite-a-few years.

And for a fair comaprison, BUSA, we would need to be checking against a blue yeti!

Just got off the phone with JMD Thane.

All prices are tentative he says. They are expecting the confirmed prices in the 1st week of January.

Classic and Ambeinte will be available in diesel alongwith the top end Elegance. Prices are tentatively pegged at 6.25 to 7.75 ex-showroom

The 1.4 petrol will be available in Elegance only and tentatively priced at 6.75 ex-showroom.

The manner in which Skoda is advertising its Brand, its surely on its way to make this new offering a success. However this is most definitely not a car for those who travel in the back seat. Way too small.

The reason I am asking this question is because I don't see them being listed in the comparison chart at the following URL:

The new Skoda Fabia - Feel Special

Is it because everyone they are trying to compare have these as a standard on their models ?

Also another question on the Swift breaks: Does Swift offer the disk breaks on all four wheels ? Or is it only on the front wheels ? I heard Fabia comes with front disk breaks and rear drum breaks.
does not mention anything about tubeless tyres but alloy wheels are present.

Surely there has to be tubeless tires, even 800 has it now.

@ Thad - Will ask Sam to wear his blue 3/4ths or as others call it chaddis, and pose along the Fabia.
@ Vk - You need to ask Sam for a interior view
@ Zak - I know the Yeti will strike back, but currently he is on a holiday without his laptop and phone so making full use of his holiday.

Does anybody have an idea whether the spares for Fabia would be as highly priced as Octi... hope not otherwise see lots of Fabias in second's market after some time.
