Its not a budget diesel car for A to B transport, this car makes one feel very special as the advertisement states, its a car for the people who are willing to pay more and dont mind the absence of the boot, even i am impressed with the size of the car i might plan to buy one soon as an alteranate car for city use as my elantra is too big to be enjoyed in the traffic .

Dealer is not sure about the pricing,ABS not available on base diesel but Airbags are standard on all variants.
any details whether automatic tranny is available on this car?

I guess this is in the future. Diesels with their hefty torque and small power bands are ideally suited to Autos. I hope it is a five speed and not a four.

Went for a Test drive and successfully got one. Currently I'm travelling and will post the full report with PICS once I reach my destination in another few hours.

Thanked: Once

One of our neighbourers (who owns a Laura) told my dad that he had got a call from the dealers end saying that there are 22 Fabias on the way to Pune. On hearing this i immediately went to Acumen Motors, but the staff there just refused to divulge any information, saying that they will give a call once the cars are there in the showroom.

Hey guys,
Saw the fabia today, and my initial observations are, Great build quality, good space, and the top end version i saw had projector lamps, beige interiors, sunroof, integrated stereo etc. The rest all the others have said. I'll let the pix do the talking now.

There is nothing wrong with the wiper IMO, it is no way like the Logan.

Well, I haven't seen the Logan wipers, but as long as wipers do their job i.e wipe water off windscreen, why should they matter so highly? Am I missing something here or is there really a debate about the wipers on the Logan?

I think Logan wipers operate the opposite way compared to normal cars here. Which was designed for Left-hand-drive, but they didnt change for cost cutting!

Fabia wipers look normal way to me.

Look at the blades of the Fabia wipers, they are the ones found on expensive premium cars, surely those wipers will work very efficiently, good job by Skoda.
