Think Shell & Reliance should close the Petrol Pumps and leave it to the HP,BP,IOC,etc... to sell the Petrol/Diesel.

Better Shell take the back seat and work in other ways to make the rate down and pick up the sale again in the Indian Market.

Really speaking they were very good in quality of service given at the outlets and never missed the Shell Petrol Pump in Bangalore...

I was going to Gulbarga in my Spark on Jan 18 and went to shell pump near mysore road cross (PES college to vijay nagar road) at around 5:30 in morning.
Came to know that shell normal is not available.
Chevy spark manual says 38 litres is tank capacity.
Car had almost 6 to 8 litres and told the pump guy for a tank full.

He filled 30 litres, no cutoff, 35 lites no cutoff and finally at 40 ltr, fuel supply was cut off by the machine.
I understand fuel will be denser in morning (cool) but can a 38 litres tank hold 45+ litres?

Regarding FE- while going to GLB, i spent almost 2500 rupees to travel 630KM (Shell super @ arnd Rs. 54.5)
While coming back, spent 2000 rupees on HP Power (@ Rs. 52) for same 630 KMs.
Looks like Hp fuel is really good.
I started filling at HP pump @ maratahalli.

Vnabhi,

at IBP and other filling outlets best is to stick to normal fules... I have obeserved Ford , Indigo, corsa and few friends cars I know have not know to return good FE with additive/performance fuel or spearte addtivies.

But I think they offer smooth feel...
