im just waiting for someone to bring out a good RWD car for 20 lakhs odd and that will sooo be the car to buy.
Like bmw said :- Front wheel drive is the work of satan.
god im so fed up with everything on indian roads. damn it !!!
And not mention a BMW m5 for 1 Cr plus? and a BMW M6 for 1.6 Cr?? jesus what the hell ?? Bently sells the Continetal GTC fot 1.6 Cr . Wake up BMW !!!
I own a M3 in the states. Not the new V8 , The straight 6. Beautiful car.
But id never pay close to 200,000 $ US ( 1 Cr )for a M5 LOL LOL LOL. Thats Ferrari Money.
so yeah definately not BMW. Killer cars..with a price to kill you .

MUL has done a lot this year but their quality IMO has taken a beating. VFM yes but quality levels have gone down.

GM-chevrolet have launched 3 new models this year and sales have been pretty good. Their quality has gone up a notch which reflects in the JD powere survey as well.

Their car's might not be the best around but the way they are going about selling them and keeping customers happy is commendable.

For me it's GM-chevy this year without doubt.

inspite of being a hyundai fan i voted for suzuki as the contribution of sx4 is huge and drastic action from the competetor was called for just by that launch.

For me it's a No Brainer. Had to be Suzuki.

It redefined 2 segments - with the SX4 and the Swift Diesel. And both were runaway successes.

Without any question or shadow of a doubt. The SX4 has well and truly rocked Honda's boat. Swift VDi - what's left to be said? The popularity and sales of the car speaks of itself.

Just saw "car of the year" 1 vote for logan. Seems recently someone voted for logan. Very strange to see this as logan is known as a Practical man's car and many people liked it because it is the cheapest sedan available right now. Still no votes?

The year belonged to MUL, no doubts about that. The transformation they have brought about in their designs is amazing. Looking forward to better offerings from them in the coming year, such as the Splash.

Chevrolet is 3rd place on this poll, but definitely gets my vote. With just the tavera and Optra in its bag, it now has a huge variety to offer every segment. No other manufacturer has added so many variants in such a short time. (Spark, U-VA, Aveo,S-RV and Magnum)

So chevy it is....!!!

No. its not. Indigo still beats the pricing by a margin!

For a person looking for a cheap entry level sedan- Indigo diesel fits the bill better than the Logan. and the sales figures show that. We have a discussion going on in another thread.

Though i bought myself a Scorpio, but the manufacturer of the year has to be Suzuki for 2 hot launches (swift and sx4) within a year.

Maruti Suzuki for me, IMHO it fits all parameters this poll is for. BTW, Why not call Maruti Suzuki instead of just Suzuki?
