no government would increase diesel prices to the petrol level and they are definately not going to subsidize auto LPG like they are doing for domestic LPG.

It looks like auto LPG is the only petro product to follow the world market rates which by the way is now $100 a barrel, with the Nigerian crisis. So expect the auto LPG prices to go up again.

Its just bad timing for Hyundai, they were caught napping when Maruti released the Duo and they have taken their own sweet time to respond to it.

On the other hand, this could be shot in the arm for Getz, if they can price it right. But given Hyundai's past pricing strategy for Getz, I doubt this would happen.
