Dilip Chhabria is our national embarrassment.
I can understand that he got media time in the 90s, because the MSM was largely ignorant of anything automotive, and starved of news. But today they know better and should not promote his butchered atrocities.

I think exactly the same of DC. The guy has designed a modded some utter garbage.

Its about time he was given the cold shoulder until he learns to mod and design properly.

I bet half the guys on this forum could do a better job than him using paint shop.

I bet he took his inspiration for the Indian RR from the following picture of a custom VW Beetle.

The Tarzan was not a bad looking car (good effort at ripping off other car designs with no originality). He even termed it the wonder car.

Suppose so. How about setting up a Team-BHP Automotive Design Corporation and a spin off Team-BHP Automotive Institute.

Oh I meant photoshop not paintshop but htinking about it I bet somoene could use paint brush and do a better job than DC.

2 Things here:

1) Let's not call him "national embarrasment" as he's also made us proud by designing one of the Aston Martin's and also the Renault Steppe.

2) Now will someone tell me where can one find a HM showroom to get it serviced...! Finding a RR showroom is easier! and imagine the plight...when they say that the engine is gone to BMW for servcing and we would only clean the car in HM bay!

Not much he could do wrong. It is like building a lego car with the instructions.

Ashame he took no inspiration from the AM and that most his own work is very poor.

The few people who might buy this would already have a pretty nice selection of those cars in his/her garage.

I really do not see why we should indulge in name calling against DC. Not all his work is carp, some are presentable. But it is really a bit far fetched use some of the phrases used here to describe DC.

Speaking for myself, I really wont pay 4megs for an amby look alike. (That I do not have the moolah is a different matter altogether).

My logic is Simple. DC has earned himself the name he has. He may not be a mechanical wizard but we all have to agree his magic with the shape. If his supercar that he has visioned is made and has a demand, coupled with if he has the ability to prove that it is a high quality build all DC bashers will have to eat their words.
Coming to the topic of a four crore ambi or any other indian car....Id rather buy a Rolls...... Amen. Thank you.
