Looks bad alright. Considering the aggressive pricing Maruti might go for, I reckon we are going to see a fair number of this on the road.

I somehow like it. Something different than the standard Japanese and European designs. This one qualifies to be an original Indian desian much like the Indigo.Made In India.

its the new bustleback concept right? on the Swift Sedan..
I think this was first used by BMW on their cars

Well, all that matters is that, the car should look good and I think it doesnt.not all that good..

Has anyone got a clear view of the back of the car?

if i were a buyer i would not go for this. the proportions are totally screwed up. the swift is born to be a hatch. it can never take the form of a sedan and live that way. thanks but no thanks!

You know I feel that way too. The Esteem looked much better... One look at this one makes me want to buy the Esteem. And the discounts are good too. Somebody tell Maruti Guys what does stylish means ! I wonder how they made the Swift which still looks miles ahead of this one. While others are coming up (read Tatas and Nanos, VW, Fiats ... ) with much cooler looking cars, these guys need to work hard. Can't they outsource ?

Ugly duckling! They just added a boot to Swift, no creativity at all!

Yes, new Esteem looks much better than this one!

Not impressive looking, I think once this is launched it would help Logan to boost the sales!

Swift Sedan boot shape is totally messed up. MUL is bad in coming up good design :( I think 2 years downtheline it would mess up all its good looking models unless it comes up with totally new design taking it from Suzuki!

If they had stretched the boot bit more it would have looked great but it would be nothing but SX4.

Regards,

Ravi.

Why would anyone get this thing over the Indigo CS? Or even the new Indica?

That tiny wheelbase suggests that it inherits the cramped interiors and adds a small boot that will barely hold two occupant's luggage.

I didn't know that there was a market for volumetrically challenged and ugly sedans. GG Suzuki.

Put some bigger wheels and might look different from anything out there.
Doesn't mean its good looking. If you put the DDiS in, might be another runaway success for Maruti.
