The interiors complement the exteriors; the only observation being the average looking fabric trim

There was an article on the Captiva in The HINDU yesterday. It was all praise for this machine, but the price mentioned was ex-showroom 20 Laks.

Hi friends. this thread seems to be asleep. Anyone any news on this much avaited semi SUV? Why is GM sleeping over it. AutoIndia had predicted launch in Sept 07 ( feb 07 issue) and then almost all auto mags have confirmed imminent launch but then not even flutter here? Also was eager to know if the auto tranny for Magnum TCDi was scoop or speculations.?

As per speculations and reports carried out in mags ( which I have been following up since Feb '07), there should be quite a few variants, in petrol as well as diesel ( at least 5) ranging from 15 to 20 lakhs. now what say?
GM ...... they dont have the link updated even in upcoming cars and are absolutely silent.. so sad

shatrughna are you sure that all the variants of the engines will be brought in. they might just get one diesel and one petrol engine. any idea of when the car is planned to be launched, since the people at chevrolet choose to keep mum about it.

For 20 lakhs, it better be something praise-worthy!!!

The tail light just not fit right, besides that i have no complaints on this car.

Now if only GM can release it we can have some more options in the diesel SUV market ! HM should launch the Outlander asap too! Anyone have some leads on this?

Guys, my apologies - went out of the country thereafter & then forgot about it completely!

Well, Tushky has put up the pics already, mine are pretty much the same (poorer quality tho lol) except for the color of the vehicle. And, interestingly, the registration series is also the same so it looks like they're testing them across the country (probably their senior employees are being made to do the R&D)? Mods, haven't covered the registration number as this is definitely a test mule, please do the needful if you feel differently.

It still looks way way better than the other options we have in the 5 seater SUV segment IMHO. So here you go -

Once again, sorry for depriving you guys of the pleasure earlier
