I think they would have a good shot with the 500 as a competition for wagon R , even with the 2 door model. If they can bring the price down, it could be a good city car or a second car in the family to make trips to the school to pick kids up , go grocery shopping

What use is it having partners like Tata if you are going to go the CBU import with Bravo etc? If Fiat themselves can't even assemble CKD kits, take Tata's help.

CKD kits at the minimum should have been tried. Bravo is very beautiful, it would surely win acceptance if priced rationally.

Linea at around 10L. Bravo at 20L. Any idea on the pricing of the Grande Punto, and when it'll be launched?

Linea is not 10, it's will start at 6.5 - from a trustworthy source, maybe the 1.9 diesel will be 10. Punto will start at 5. the original plan was to launch Punto and Linea this year April onwards, but apparently Punto is pushed back to 2009 but Linea will launch as scheduled in mid year.
