Hey Steeriod
Great job man. Much appreciated. Especially for people who stay thousands of miles away and cannot attend, this is excellent.

A-Star is Born!

Day 2 for us start with Maruti, which was easily the biggest, most organized stall with the most number of concepts and new designs AND the best entertainment.

Lighting was mixed, though - some of the cars were VERY well lit up (overlit) while some including the star of the show were badly lit.

Here's the Star of their show. It looks real hot with all the fancy lighting, rear view CAMERAs where ORVMs would've been, fancy interiors, etc. But take away the glitzy bits that make a 'concept' fantastic, and it is just another small car from one of the world's best small car makers. I think the A Star was there with all the bits and pieces to try and take away a bit of attention from the other star of the show that was dressed in plain jane clothes. I must say it was successful.

Swift something else. Now when I review the pics I realize that the Maruti stall was 2 concepts and different versions of the same cars - nothing really for the market! It left a terrific impression, though.

To me this is the ugliest Swift I have ever seen... Only thing I liked about it is the headlamp assembly..

Mahindra had an Axe to grind. Unfortunately that was about all they had, the rest was Renault.

They had the Hummer and the Captiva besides these.
