Re: KIT cars in India The closest we (my dad's last car and I had a ring side view of the horrible ownership experience) came to owning a "kit" car in India was with the "Sipani D-1". Basically, if you want to perform 'harakiri' you can go for a kit car or a DIY car in India. With this forum replete with horror tales of experiences with mainstream automakers dealers (I'd not go into the specifics) why does one need kit cars to add to the heart burn. I also stay away from 'performance enhancing tuners' and keep the car stock.
