Indica DiCOR specification launched

The new Indica DiCOR micro site is online
Indica v2 Dicor: About Dicor
There is only one varient available, DLG not the DLX
New model does not have ABS or Airbag, may be they want to reduce the cost!

key difference between Dicor and turbo versions: both DLG models:
Dicor ---------------Turbo
1396 cc -------------1405 cc
70ps@4000rpm ------ 68ps@4500 rpm
140NM@1800-3000rpm-- 128NM@2500 rpm
length: 3690mm------- 3675mm
height: 1500mm ------ 1485mm ::::turbo is shorter
GC: 165mm------------ 170mm :::::::turbo has better GC
Kerb wt: 1105kg -------1050kg ::::::::turbo is lighter
Turning radius: 3.8m ----4.9m ::::::::dicor turns in much less space !!!

fuel tank and wheel/tyre are same.
How come the turning radius is so low for Dicor- is it a printing mistake on the site??
Also, Dicors GC is less; btw how practical is the 2 ps difference between dicor and turbo ??

at best it can be 4.8m - even alto needs a 4.6m, 3.8 is impossible for an Indica!

I am surprised tho. I though Dicor was just an engine change. Seems to be a different car altogether.

Any news on CS? Wasn't it supposed to be launched by now?

Test drove the indica dicor 2 days back at fortune motors, powai.engine is harsh and can no way be compared to the DDIS engine.
Noise/vibrations very much come through in the passenger cabin.
It was a very short drive so these are some of the things i noticed.

Then people will wait for the Fiat heart than dicor heart. Why they are releasing Dicor?

Indica X1 will have both petrol and diesel.
Diesel would be multijet.

Its must be a typo about turning radius.

Regarding TURBO vs DICOR. DICOR is still better no matter its 2ps more or less. The torque is more and the engine is direct injection common rail.

I have a first hand experience on both TDi and DICOR (Indigo) and the DICOR indigo do have better throttle response, better pickup, lesser noise and vibrations. Indica turbo costs 4 lacs spending 25k more on DICOR is a good idea.
