No Power steering?

Web site mentions against "Power Steering" as manual. What does that mean? It should be Yes/No

Just checked the feature list in the link, it mentions 'power steering:manual' for all variants.
I guess that means PS is not an option on any model.

Killer pricing!!!
But will Tata also revise the price of the indica, because the cs can also hit indica sales.

3.79 lakhs for a sedan is the best Tata can offer.it has got all ingredients for a hot cake.Instead of 1.4L TCIC Diesel Engine they must bring 1.3 MJD which can bring others diesel cars in class tough competition.

My brother wanted to go for Hyundai i10 (era). I shall advise him to go for Indigo CS now. Makes better sense anytime I think!

Although i am not big on Tata cars, i must give it to them for redefining VFM.
I am sure all the local private taxi services are going to be very happy with this launch.

Sheer Masterclass, show 'em the way Tata (as in show the other "cheap sedan" manufacturers who to really do it). As a very satisfied Indigo owner, I proudly attest for the sheer value, comfort and utility offered by this sedan.

A steal. Any which way you look at it.

what TATA is doing is to pass on the benefits of volumes/depreciation etc to customers. they are using the same engine block in different models. compare this with other manufacturers. TATA got dies and tools for winger from renault. hence they did not have to test the chasis etc. so they priced it very reasonably.
what Maruti did with Zen estillo? it gets Mr Wagon dies/tools etc still prices the car high .
this is the difference between TATA and others.
Do business , earn profits reasonably and offer customers VFM ( TATA's way)
where as others want astronomical profits and loot customers and hence price the products sky high

Wonderful ! Now this sets me thinking where Maruti would price the base version of the Dezire.

The 'Dezire' if I am not wrong is the replacement for the 'Esteem' (that retailed at above 5 lacs OTR). I do not see a pricing for the 'Dezire' that can come anywhere close to the 'IndigoCS'.

Another Tata masterstroke!

man! let alone the entry level C sedans.. this is the real hatchback killer!!
Take a look at the prices of the B+ hatches:

Chevrolet Aveo U-VA 1.2
Std Rs.3,99,869
LS Rs.4,41,659
LT Rs.4,81,943

Fiat Palio Stile 1.1
SL Rs.3,51,977
SLE Rs.3,70,133
SLX Rs.3,90,399

Hyundai i10
D-lite Rs.3,41,732
Era Rs.3,78,583
Magna Rs.4,03,698
Magna 0 Rs.4,79,855

Hyundai Getz Prime 1.1
GLE Rs.3,99,910
GVS Rs.4,32,910

Maruti Zen Estilo BS III
LX Rs.3,20,686
LXi Rs.3,49,446
VXi Rs.3,74,579

At its price, the Indigo CS is surely a bargain. Expect to see many of them on our roads in the future.
But I'll wait for the indigo based on the X1 platform, whenever it comes!

Amazing deal! The Tata stable has come a long long way from the first Indica launched, especially the value that they offer on their vehicles!

Way to go, Tata!

It should not be. While the tata has given the CS purely a budget sedan tag (65 bhp Petrol engine, no PWs, no ABS, no DICOR, no 1.4 P), Suzuki will definitely go upmarket and will stay farthest from the budget tag.

Swift gets a kick in the butt with this pricing............. I am surprised that they have kept the width and height intact. Amazing boot space of 380 litres.

But what is being missed is the Dicor Engine and a power window option even on the top model. It would have costed them peanuts to have the power windows. Whats the difference between HVAC and AC?
