Somehow this link is not showing pricing of Dicor, so I think you need to visit the site and goto the pricing manually. It won't redirect to the pricing page.

The 50 k Price difference does not juatify just an Dicor Engine !

There must be some more goodies with Dicor version to justify its Price

Anybody has any Info?

and i thought 30k more for the indica dicor was too much. I hope it at least has power windows, something i feel is a big minus point for the CS

Looks like that they just plonked the new dicor engine without adding any furthur value to the variant by providing no extra features.

I wonder what the intent is. What harm is there in providing the customer with options.
It doesnt even have the basic power windows & central locking. Why ? Why ?
I fail to understand.

How justified will be a jump in 50k just for the sake of the Dicor engine over the TCIC one?

Edit: I just noted that there is some inconsistency in pricing the Dicor variant of the corresponding Indica based car across the model range.

For example

Indigo LS Dicor vs Indigo LS TCIC price difference in ~30k, cars being similarly equipped.
Indigo Marina LX dicor vs Indigo LX Marina TCIC price difference in ~50k, cars being similarly equipped.

Indica DLS Dicor vs Indica DLS TCIC price difference in ~40k.
Indica DLG Dicor vs Indica DLG TCIC price difference in ~30k.

Oh Yes, but I was more eager for them to have the 1.4l 16valve 100bhp engine being comissioned for non-XL duty as well. Seems like the team of Tata motors handline that engine has been sent on an indefinite leave. Or is it a collateral damage (?) of teaming up with Fiat.

True, I am sure there are lot more TATA fans awaiting a 100HP Affordable package, just like me awaiting a DICOR one. But one thing is for sure, The INDICA dicor(75BHP ~) sucks when you panic brake at 160+, Just imagine a 100HP engine!!! I am yet to see the CS Dicor (let alone RIP it), probably the extra 100~ KGs of boot may help the stability. I will try to lay my hands on one soon and update you guys.

Panic braking at 160+ would upset many a car even segments above the one in question. Why one needs more power is not only to explore the topmost speed one can attain, but how soon the car changes momentum when you press that A pedal. There are a lot of cars in the Indica category that doesn't even exhibit the same stability at triple digit speeds as does the Indica let alone panic braking from 160+.
