Class Starts Early; Indigo CS launched; starts at 3.79lac

Indigo CS comes in 1.2 , 65bhp petrol and 1.4L TCIC Diesel Engine.
Price starts at 3.79lac.

World's first sub 4mtr sedan. It looks great when viewed from the side. They should have given it the Dicor engine.

Wow! The pricing is fantastic, and looks way (rather waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay) better than the swift dezire that is being launched. I am sure its going to give the Maruti's a lot to think about.

Great going!

Pics

I'm hoping that figure will be of the cheapest petrol variant. It is available in 1.2 P and 1.4 TCIC. No mention of variants in the ad.

Photos of the newspaper ad that came today:

Photos I clicked at the auto expo:

Great news very good move, now actual war will begin and we can expect some tough fight in the segment and also in the segment one above and below.

I am really impressed the way TATA are reshaping the indian automobile industry!

They are getting set to become Indian best selling auto brand. hope they improve quality day by day or at least continue to show progress.

All the Best to TATA

Regards,

Ravi.

Amazing pricing! Wonder what prices does the diesel start. I wish they skip the DICOR and instead bring the Fiat MJD on this. At around 5.5 lacs on road, that will be a killer car!
