Hi all,

I stumbled upon this link while goggling for the new Mahindra SUV.

Mahindra Renault Sandero | Upcoming Cars | Upcoming cars in India

If the above is true, I really doubt that it will be launched under Rs. 4lakh

In any case, this one looks quite impressive and the Renault engine is already a winner with the Logan.

I hope M&M works on the bland interiors and the sub-normal looks, which put off many prospective buyers for the Logan.

Guys Shoeb from SRK Design fame has done a rendering of the Mahindra small SUV, it looks very futuristic also the Mahindra World SUV spypics are pretty close to the SRK Design of the world SUV. Images courtesy SRK and Indian Auto blogs.

That's the exact pic on my desktop background !
If the small SUV from M&M is half as good looking, I am going for it.

Well just saw the Huyndai I35 in another thread, add some curves to this rendering and it will sell like hot cakes. May be if SRK is on this forum he can take some inspiration from the flowing lines of the i35 and the i45 and make his rendering look better.

I feel the big crowd that, it will pull is the ones who would want to buy an SUV but are not ready to spend 10-12 Lakhs on Safari and Scorpio.

The first lot who would be waiting to buy such a thing would definitely be the youth and SUV enthusiasts.
Slowly followed by sedan buyers/premium hatchback buyers.

The market is definitely there for these products now, and not just in Metros. And i am looking forward to these for sure!

This, I presume(image by ranc) is the new 5 seater Xylo which Mahindra was recently caught testing in Rajasthan. Not upto my taste at all. I hope they reduce the height otherwise the bodyroll will be more pronounced.

Oh! I never knew my image landed up here.
Thanks ranc.

I feel Mahindra won't make major changes in terms of design to the 5 seater Xylo and the current Xylo. This will help them keep the overall cost of product low due to part sharing.

The november issue Autocar has given the whole plan of Mahindra nad the future line-up.
In the Mahindra world SUV thread, @xinger has put up pics from the magazine. And among the sub titles got the line 'new s101 SUV to be the nano SUV'. Anyone there with ACI edition to confirm it?
