i think i wont sleep today but,is it worth the wait ill update tommorow by 5:30 pm.all details like variants approx price specs and what all i can get would be here tommorow evening.i have a hunch feel that it would have the same engine of swift but with different gear ratios to accomodate the higher weight of the car .

True. But I believe they have to because Swift and SX4 are both VFM and they have to place the dezire in between both.

I don't know if this has been discussed earlier but are the engine specs same as the Swifts? Or, will these have a different state of tune?

Quite a lot of questions & speculations, only time will tell if the dezire will be desirous for anyone, so let us keep our fingers crossed. Anyway I am not putting my money on any of these 'latesht' suzuki cars, just no fun to drive.

It certainly will need to have a different set of tune to lug the extra weight around.

Same engine? No M-series?

With the extra weight of the sedan, the M-series engine with its mid-range punch makes more sense compared to the peaky G- series engines.
