i think maintaining the current waiting period will still mean 2-3 months for diesel??

well... with the A & B pillar black -they shouldve either converted the whole thing to body colored painting or none. Now it looks weired with a very "sporty" black B pillar but body colored - like someone photoshopped the thing on.

Is the launch confirmd?

How does this work? What if someone books a diesel on day 1 or 2 of launch? Will it have the same waiting period? Are they not dispatching any diesel or have no inventory initially?

They have enough inventory saurabh.the initial couple of bookings would be fine but then we start to see long lists of bookings at every dealership like in swift diesel.
Good news is that a diesel zdi is despatched to my dealer already.Must be here in 4-5 days time.Launch is confirmed at 26th in delhi and 27th in kerela.

I think changing the headlights from the vertical orientation to horizontal orientation would have atleast given a bit more appeal in the looks department.

No, I remember reading some previous post that said Zdi would not be available in hatchback.
Probably because it would bring it dangerously close it the sedan pricewise, and also they want to keep some features exclusive to the sedan.

EDIT:
Just found the post

Some rumors are that we would get new colors in the sedan, not confirmed as of yet.The feedback across india after the initial trainings are that the looks are acceptable and some rated it as excellent.

I would say its decent. Just because of the rear i would not rate it excellent. But this car will surely be an awesome value for money. Logan & Co. watch out!!

Actually not just Logan & Co. , IMO it would also make a dent on the sales for Fiesta and Verna diesels.

Hi Ram! Thanks for excellent info. Will it be better to wait for some initial feedback from actual customers than booking it on day ONE?

Hi Ram! Shall I wait for the feedback from actual customers? Or should I book on day ONE? I am interested in the Diesel version.
