was pretty much excited abt its launch but after lookin at the pics.. i feel thats going to look horrbile in an enthusiasts view..

i feel maruti is disrespetcting the swift and its style by putting that ugly boot in it..

but if its VFM, then it will sell..

This is great news. The dealer here in Vadodara says that the new Swift Dezire will have M13 engine.
But he was not sure.
The pricing is expected to be in the level of Esteem.
They are also plannig a diesel model soon.

And it would be an epic battle Swift Dezire Vs New Indigo Vs Logan.

Yes you are perfectly right in this regard.
Maruti Swift has established itself very well.
Plus as we all know the After Sales and Service( AS & S) is a very strong point of Maruti and this will be no different.

If the price is the same then the swift wont sell because people will ge a bigger car for the price of swift

To beat "New Indigo CS", Swift dezire have to keep price down below Rs 3.70 lac....then it will be real competitor for Indigo...

By that logic, the Xeta would outsell the Swift petrol. But it doesnt because people have different brand preferences and also look for different things in a car. Without knowing what the car offers, its hard to form a judgement on how it would do relative to the Indigo CS/Indigo.
