Dont find the Dzire weird anymore. Maruti Suzuki has done a very good job of fitting a boot to the swift. Could well be my next car if the pricing is 'right'.

Now i have 2 dzires in transit. One is a golden one and the other a white one. These pictures here gives a good idea about the car ,but the angle of the photos are a bit high.I am not sure the same homogeneity is maintained when we see it from the eye level.

Rear half of the car is more cute than the front. I feel like there is a mismatch between the front & back. May be, as ram_hyundai said, its because of the angle of picture taken?

I can't digest the ugly forced boot and the crappy sides. I think they could've done a much better job. The rear might just get ripped off under stress ;-) I think these were the same designers who were involved in re-designing the Zen (Classic & the New version).

In this age of sleek and sophisticated designs, this is a disappointment. I think the Indigo (XL, Regular & CS) looks better put together.

with the desire launch date coming closer,i feel it has started giving competition to the sx4.many of the customers are waiting for the launch of the desire and have put their bookings (sx4)on hold,

This car is surely going to sell majorly because it will be very good VFM.
But the sad part is that these kind of cars which are a result of just adding a boot to a car which one could have never imagined as a sedan are only given to India.

I remember swift was launched internationally but Dzire??? i dont think so.
It would have been good if they gave us a better replacement to Esteem.

This is a practical car but still makes me sad thinking about the treatment given to us by a company that has been around for more than 2 decades.

@Maruti: You surely could have done a better job in replacing esteem.

Cheers.

I agree !

So the 100% Indian job ( The boot ) is better than the international global .......**** Design.

I saw a golden DZIRE ZDI(DDiS) near PVR SPICE NOIDA Yesterday 17th March 2008 at around 2 pm.

It had Haryana Registeration and it did appear longer than the swift even if the boot werent there. I mean the wheelbase surely was increased. A peep revealed Steering controls , Climatronic and Integrated Head Unit. Airbags were also there.

No Camera phone at that time. ( My E90 Gone for Repairs )

So, Couldn't get Pics but the car will surely sell like hot cakes and It could be good bye indigo, logan

So far the feedback is very positive from people who have seen this car.
Looks like Dzire is going to eat up whole of Indigo/Logan sharers and some of SX4/Aveo/Fiesta/NHC shares too.
I wanted to wait for this car but had to take a decision by 17th March for my company car lease. I know many of my friends/relatives waiting for this launch.
No other manufacturer knows Indian market better than Maruti. I am a fan of Maruti for at least their road presence.
