actually I also got confused with "date". It meant March 2008. Title can still be modified to march 2008

I am waiting for the day when the title of this thread will read "...EDIT: Now launched, official pics on page ##". Seriously tired of waiting for this launch.

Look at detailed, exclusive Swift Dzire pictures posted here. Doesn't look that bad after all.

The bottom-most photo in fact reminds me of the NHC at a certain angle ! Don't know if people consider the NHC to be good-looking, but that's another matter.

This site is bashing some bhp-ian. But I don't remember seeing those pics ever on t-bhp right?

The fourth pic looks especially good. Overall, I would say, a nice car for the segment. To my eyes, it looks better than the Indigo.

The Engine specifications remain the same, right?

Then hows Maruti going to tackle Fuel Efficiency with added weight?? especially when its a ZXi??

Is there a change in petrol engine specs?

A friend of mine is surely in dilemma right now. He booked a Swift ZXi and after looking at Dezire pics he's having second thoughts!

Refer to my post where I have noted this.

Earlier, there were a bunch of 3 inline photos in the alleged post. Looks like some editing has been done.

Anyway ...

Regarding the weight factor, here it is..

So, 30kg will hardly make a difference in a 1000+kg car

It is definitely better to wait the Dzire, if your friend wants to have a boot.

I don't think so.. It looks lot better than what we saw in earlier photos. I would not definitely label this as ugly..

One question..

If given a choice between dzire vxi and Accent GLE which one should be preferred?

I KNOW accent is older but given its 1.5L engine + bigger size compared to dzire 1.3 vxi version , what our indian "aam adami" should do?

Accent OTR is around 5.5 in pune and I believe dzire vxi should also also in the same range 10k here / there.

What do you think?

IMO, this question can be properly answered after TDing both Dzire and Accent. Better wait for Dzire to launch.

I think there were 2 teams, one designing the front and the other back. Somewhere in the process they forgot to communicate to each other.

YUCK for the shape, when i saw the front and back together.
