Nice pics! The leading car also has a pretty agressive looking rear wing!
Hot 1.6 petrol sports version perhaps?

Also looks like there will be no changes to the back end for both of these.

Fiesta had everything going for it but for the bland looks. Should be an awesome car now.

140 is not even in the ballpark man. Even 2 liters struggle to make that. 90 bhp is the Euro spec for the 1.6 duratorq

Here are some pics of the new front end we could expect. Pics are from Ford Mercosur. Doesn't look like we are getting the rear quarter glass. That will be carryover.

Dont think with 1.6 we would be getting 140 bhp. We'd probably be looking at close to a 100 bhp i suppose.

Great spy pics there, Sateesh!
The Ikon definitely seems to have new headlamps, if nothing else. The ORVMs and even door handles are STILL the same!

@MPower, doesnt the Brazilian Fiesta also resemble the pic you posted?

And the covered cars(RVM & headlights) remind me vividly of the new Ikon's pic in overdrive.
A major revision for the Ikon at this time is unlikely. Ford might keep sheet metal changes to a minimum. Headlights of both vehicles have been updated while the ORVMs remain unchanged. Noticed that the 2 new Fiestas do not have the current Fiesta's adjustable rear head restraints. Or is it the Ikon?!

The Ikon's getting a complete overhaul, looks and engine.
The new one is based on the Ford ka, basically a ford Ka with a boot & 1.2 litre engine. similar interior's though.
Check April's overdrive issue,it has pics. it says the completely new looking ikon is set to release in October.

@MaserQ - The second fiesta is an Exi. I don't think that variant comes with adjustable head restraints in the rear.

Apart from the spy pics posted, the other pics of the fiesta are from the latin american market. And it's not just a headlight/taillight job. Too many things, including stuff like door handles, wipers, dashboard, windscreen (parts that are typically carried over even if there are panel changes for a market) are different. I have taken quite a few Fiesta rides in the last 3 weeks (in Buenos Aires, Argentina) and notice that practically everything except the badging is different.

Even i think the same. The ORVM's and door handles are not body coloured too . So should be the Exi.

This is the Info i have got from a reliable known source...
Ford Fiesta 1.6 Duratorq DOHC (1560cc Engine)
Max Power: 66KW (90PS bhp) @ 4000rpm
Max Torque: 204Nm @ 1750rpm
0 - 100kmph: 11.3secs
Max Speed: 180kmph

Now this guy left Ford India 2 months back so i cannot confirm of any new developments after that but what he has mentioned is confirmed... & they will be launching the Ikon with minor changes with the older 1.4 Duratorq Fiesta Engine competitively priced to take on the Indigo, Logan & DZire Diesels.

I was not too enthused by the "scoop" from Overdrive since they have got it wrong several times . So it is better to take the information in there with atleast the RDA of salt.

I remember that they had predicted that Fiesta would also get a facelift to resemble the one sold in the Latin American markets and we all know what happened to that.

Lets hope that the changes spruce up the looks of Fiesta. Ikon being given a fresh lease is somewhat surprising.
Is there a spoiler on the bootlid of the first car ?

Any changes under the hood are there or not ? I was expecting this 1.4 68hp mill to for Fusion/Ikon and fiesta to get 1.4 with VGT and 1.6D with VGT.

Some more spy pics of the IKON! Not much changes may be except the tail lights!
