I spoke to a Ford dealer today. They said a new 1.4 diesel version would be at their showroom around 18th to 20th of this month. They also said the 1.6 diesel might take another 3 months to be launched.

Balenopower, those pics are good. The 15" alloys sure look good. As far as the interior is concerned, there does not appear to be much of a difference. I have the sport pedals on my car too--of course I had to pay for them.

Great pictures baleno power!

They launched it already? I remember seeing one similar color fiesta near the Ford factory couple of days back but was traveling in the opposite direction. Remember that the headlights were like this but couldn't take any pictures as I was going in a different direction.

From the pictures even the audio system seems to be different from the current one. I didn't like the alloys though. No climate control as well :-(

Yes the SXI and the 1.6 S model get a 2 DIN single cd units with a 4 channel amp, which sounds pretty decent for a default sound system.

Nice pics BalenoPower. Official launch in Chennai? I thought the launch date was 20th June. Could you give us the price list if possible?

Yes! Looks great! Love the colour and the alloys. They've made small changes but I think it's tastefully done.

@BalenoPower -
Awesome pics.
The interiors look pretty much the same except the passenger side storage bin.
Does this come with passenger airbags as well or is that the new dash for all the fiestas?
IMHO, the car looks pretty good. Apart from the bumpers, it has a meaner streak to it, which compliments the mean 1.6petrol engine..
@vnabhi - is the 1.6TDCI confirmed though?

@ Lamborghini - If Ford has plans of Launching the 1.6 TDCI i guess it will be after few months. My guess is that the want the facelift Ikon to get the 1.4 TDCI and then may be after sometime they may plonk the 1.6 TDCI in the Fiesta. But just hope they do get the 1.6 TDCI.

a very radical change from the older fiesta's conservative styling. looks eye catching like sx4 . new fiesta will surely rock.
