@glass - That is news to me. When we bought it, it came with an 18month warranty IIRC.

The lower front grille in 1.6S looks amazing IMO . Does anyone has any ideas about the price of 1.6S ?

@ sidindica : Nice Work !! The 1.6 S does look hot ! A black 1.6 S would surely look amazing. The Fiesta facelift does look better in the brochure than
ACI pics.

Yes, now they will be busy to add again the 1.4. It will now be interesting to observe how quick they are to readd 1.4.

Nice...looking good with that Audi style front grille and black bar!!!

The blue is a terrible color, show me one in sliver. I hope the suspension is also stiffer. This going to be one hell of a driver's car guys.

I guess my prediction about the Sports version was true after all ( after seeing the cammo car with the spoiler)

Where, may I ask? I heard they are displaying the cars only on Jun 20th, with a paper ad on 19th. That is what the sales rep from the dealer says.
It appears they have done away with the 6-cd changer and replaced it with a single cd 2 din mp3 player. It also appears they have improved the speakers (not sure why as they were already sounding good on the sxi)

You gotta wait for one more day. The paper ads are set to come tomorrow, and showroom display from 20th. That is the info I got from sales rep in Hyd.

I just asked a sales representative casually and he said ex showroom of 1.6S would be 20K more than that of Sxi plus the rise in duty. Also training is going on for the sales represenatives and the launch is tommorrow.

Then that would be 40 K more, adding both. The first 20K must be for the alloy wheels, as a set of 4 costs 22 K--that is what I had paid for the 14" alloys last year.
But from what I suspect, it looks like they have put the 2-din mp3 player as optional, meaning it does not come free with the car. This apart, the sport version does not seem to have leather vinyl seat covers that come with the sxi.

The new car looks very good. I guess it will be at the showroom across the country (in select cities) by tomorrow evening.

The car in blue has a Subaru-ish attitude about it. Great looks!! Low profile footwear look stunning and alloys are cool too!! Wish how the rear will look. Hope the angry bumper design would be carried backwards!

BH.
